Our review:Editorial Review :Your Barbie fan can create home videos with the Barbie Wireless Video Camera. The frosted-pink camera, which comes with a detachable, handheld microphone; a tripod; a receiver unit; and a blank videotape, connects to your TV and VCR to transmit and record home videos. The camera itself is a compact and sturdy image transmitter, and doesn't actually do any recording. You'll need your VCR to do that. It's got a viewfinder, an adjustable hand strap and a built-in condenser mike, as well as a jack for the external mike. You can use the camera in two ways: to transmit live audio and video directly to your TV, or to record directly to your VCR while transmitting to your TV. The camera can be set up on a tripod. Although this camera can't be used outside or anywhere there isn't a TV or VCR, it could provide lots of fun at birthday parties and other family events. Requires six AA and two AAA batteries (included).

Love It!
I got the Barbie Video Camera when I was 6 years old for Christmas and I still love to play with it. Me and my friends play with it all the time. The only thing is that you can't go real far away from the receiver like outside. We tried to go outside with it but the screen on the tv just goes blank. But we use it inside and love it. I would recommend it to other kids.

Fun toy but needs updated technology. The toy would be more funtional if it at least had a screen to see what you are taping on the recorder instead of looking at the tv.

Barbie cam
This is a fun toy.My 6 year old loved making music videos with it.It works suprizingly well for a kids toy.Its wirless capabillities were good for a toy.It worked well thoughout my 2 level 2400 sq foot house.Fun for her and the whole family and not a bad value either!!

One of the best toys I have ever had!
I am 9 years old and I got it when about 6 years old and I still play with it alot. I think that it is one of the best toys I have ever had! We set it up to a TV/VCR combo portable TV and it works great. I think you should buy this.

Barbie Video Cam
We gave this to our 6 year old granddaughter for her birthday. She had an interest in taking still pictures, but really was excited to be able to film videos like DADDY! Actually, we all had a great time camcording the birthday party. Easy to use, but of course, adult has to hook it up to TV. Recommend it for an unusual, but educational gift.
